When Formative 3D first approached Pump, large-format 3D-printed furniture was generally limited to concept designs created for speculative installations and media content. Together, we worked to design a line of office furniture that could meet the demands of corporate clients while scaling for higher-volume production beyond the one-off, speculative designs that defined the early days of printed furniture.
