MiiR Water Bottle

When MiiR first approached Pump Studios, they were working with a local Austin designer to develop their fledgling brand, and an iconic product from which to launch. MiiR relied on Pump for documentation, and manufacturing support throughout the development process. Key to their design, were features not previously seen in a stainless steel water bottle, including a formed recess accommodating application of custom graphics, and a minimal neck height providing a robust seal with just one full turn of the lid. Several manufacturers flat out refused to undertake the fabrication, with Pump’s help MiiR was able to work with their manufacturer to break away from the de-facto standard design in stainless hydration.

Though subtle, these details allow the MiiR brand to stand out in a crowded market. Through MiiR’s one4one campaign, every bottle sold provides one person with clean water for an entire year. Since launching their original bottle, MiiR has gone on to expand into other product lines, and greatly increase their philanthropic mission.
